Let's meet at 0900 in the Longmire parking lot near the restrooms at the east end. From there we can car pool up the mountain. An entrance fee or a pass will be needed for each car. Weather is supposed to be good, but be prepared for snow (or rain showers.)
I am a fan of GPS navigation. If you have questions about GPS and maps, I can try to answer them. No guarantees.
This is a chance to get out early in the year. Maybe not so much snow, but the conditions might be special in some surprising way.
If you have non-Mountaineer friends who have snowshoes and want to try them out, they are welcome to come along. They will have to sign a release form. Children must have a parent who can sign for them, of course.
