Beginner Snowshoe - Reflection Lakes

Meet at Longmire Parking Lot at 0830.  Gate usually opens by 0900.  Participants may wish to meet earlier  to carpool; (leader will already be at Mt Rainier)  Leader will likely be parked closer to the Longmire Museum (not the National Park Inn) so look for me around there.

If you are new to snowshoeing be aware that there is a bit of up and down on this route but there is nothing steep.  The weather forecast is for quite cold temp's so bring adequate layers to add if you need to. ( We will likely sit for a lunch break at the lakes for about 30 minutes if conditions are OK. ) There is an entry fee of $25 per vehicle (last time I looked) so carpool if you can. You must have chains in your car even if it is AWD or 4 WD. 

PLEASE NOTE: Leader will not have cell service or email access after Friday night (Feb 16) so if you need to cancel, please phone by then.

If for any reason this route is not feasible, we may substitute another one of comparable difficulty.
