See destination description for info on possible itinerary, which will be determined by conditions that day. If you haven't been on one of my snowshoe trips before you must get in touch with me to finalize your registration – either email or phone is fine. It is important to me to know what everyone brings to the trip in terms of preparedness, training and experience, and ability to drive (all vehicles must carry chains, even 4- and all-wheel drive). Winter weather is very unforgiving, however beautiful it can be! The goal for the day will be to get out in the snow, to revive old skills and practice new ones. We will be on a trail as well as doing some off-trail travel and, if there is trail to be broken, everyone will get a chance to do that! The journey is more important than the destination. When registration closes leader will send email with last minute information and carpooling suggestions.
