This is a pre-holiday trip to burn up a few calories and escape the craziness of downtown. We'll go up to Paradise, as the gate allows, and wander around and marvel at our good fortune. New Members and children over 8 are welcome. I have no skill level requirements except to be able to walk on snowshoes. WE WILL GO AS SLOW AS THE SLOWEST PERSON WANTS OR NEEDS. If you have a normally fast pace, you will find this extremely boring and may want to skip this outing but would definitely welcome anyway. There is no specific destination or goal so there's not a need to rush to get there. Especially the really slow and the really fast, please make sure that you have ample clothing so that you don't get chilled waiting or working out to keep a pace. We'll rest when ever anyone wants and have plenty of time for a good lunch/snack break. I would like to have at least two hours on snowshoes but have blocked out the whole day (downhill gate probably is closed at 4:30) if people would like. Actual trip length will be determined by group needs. I highly recommend a change of warm dry clothes for the drive back. Ten Essentials should be along, no cotton clothing, but if you don't have a map, don't go out and buy one. I will have a printed map of Paradise for each participant.
