This semi-instructional trip is most appropriate (but not absolutely limited to) for recent graduates of the Basic Snowshoe class. The pace will vacillate between moderate and leisurely, allowing opportunities to practice skills as desired by the group's participants. As with all Mountaineers snowshoe trips, the Ten Essentials, appropriate topo map, and appropriate non-cotton clothing are required. Sno-Park parking pass is required at the Gold Creek trailhead.
