Meet at the White Pass Nordic Area Yurt January 2, 2016 starting at 9am for questions and answers. With a 10 am strapped in and heading out time.

This trip is designed for those with little or no experience who want to learn the basics of snowshoeing. Whether you are new to snow sports, want to have fun in the winter outdoors or yearn to take winter hikes, this is the trip to get you started on your winter adventure.

In this trip you will learn to practice the basics. We will travel on the groomed trail and travel off trail to trek to the waterfall in the area.

Families encouraged to attend.

Snowshoe rental is available at the Yurt for $15.

There is also a $15 day use fee for the Nordic Area.

  • Appropriate winter boots
  • Cotton clothes are not appropriate and will make you very cold when wet.
