Leader will suggest a meet place and time to enable carpooling in the welcome message. We should aim to be at the trailhead bfore 9 AM. For reference: the drive is 1 1/2 hour from Issaquah.
On a clear day, the view from Wenatchee Crest is excellent. We will travel above the forest service road as much as possible as it is more fun to snowshoe off road. The leader will watch the snowfall reports, sometimes this can be a spike hike instead of a snowshoe trip. In that case, we may switch to a snowier location.
A Sno-park pass is required. If we do not have volunteer drivers with passes, we will all chip in for a day pass.
