It's 8.4 miles round trip and 2,200 feet of elevation gain with a high point of 4,400 ft. Enjoy the ridgetop with views of Mount Rainier, Mount Adams and Mount St. Helens on a clear day and it looks like Friday should be a clear day. We will snowshoe up to the Snow Bowl Hut and if able, have lunch inside. Depending on mood of group after lunch, we may decide to travel to High Hut before heading back to the cars which would add about 2 miles to the trip. Though this is a basic snowshoe, it will be a strenuous trip so please only sign up if you have the fitness to complete this snowshoe and have the basic snowshoe badge.
We will meet at Ashford County Park at 8 AM to consolidate cars into those who have a sno-park pass.
