My goals for this trip are:
1. Be safe.
2. Make it to the hut for lunch.
3. Learn something.
My expectations for trip participants are:
1. Practice Leave No Trace principles.
2. Be respectful of all participants.
3. Have the necessary gear and clothing to be safe and comfortable in cold, inclement weather.
4. Have the necessary physical conditioning for this trip. Miles on snowshoes are harder than miles on foot. Mileage is not very long for this trip but the road is consistently steep on the way in.
0800 at the Road 1 Sno-park south of Ashford. Directions will be provided. Sno-park pass needed.
