7:30 at the at the South Hill Park and Ride, (SW corner of 9th street SW (94th Ave E) & 31st Ave SW, Puyallup).
We'll do a wander around the Paradise area, perhaps up towards Glacier Vista. Pace will be easy to moderate. Hope for sun, plan for rain/snow. Be sure to bring some extra layers and a waterproof jacket and pants, gloves/mittens, lunch, snacks, and liquids (water, hot tea, cocoa, etc). Optional extra abound, but a couple of nice ones to have are hand warmers and a camera.
Plan to be out all day. We'll try to make this an Easy+ to allow for anyone needing course credit. As with any snowshoe trip, destinations are optional, as they are more weather and group dependent than a hike.
This is a mentored snowshoe trip and the mentored leader is Krys Beard. Please email questions to: krysb3@gmail.com. If you have any health conditions that I should be aware of you can email me, or speak to me the day of the trip.
We'll need two drivers, if the trip is full.
