9:00 AM at Ashford Fire Hall, Ashford
Join us for a snow shoe trek on (usually) groomed routes to a hut in the Mt Tahoma area. Based on conditions, we will decide on the day of the event whether to go to Cooper Creek Hut or High Hut. Cars going to the trailhead must have snow park permits (day permits can be purchased at store across from Fire Hall for about $10). Those cars not going to trailhead can be left at the Fire Hall parking lot during the day. Huts are heated, so plan on a warm leisurely lunch. Plan to carry you own water. There will be extra bonus loops for those who want to get in a little extra milage. Suggested donation to huts $3-5.
