Trip rated E+ for sign-up and course credit purposes. A Mount rainier National Park loop snowshoe trip starting at Narada Falls, then up to Paradise Lodge, then along Paradise Valley road to the Mazama Ridge cut-off, then up the ridge and southwest along the ridge, a side-trip to Reflection Lakes, then back to Narada. On a good weather day, the views of Rainier and the Tatoosh Range are magnificent. Vehicles need Rainier or National Parks passes, be 4WD/AWD, and carry chains. Perhaps a slice of Blackberry Pie and a hot apple cider afterwards at the nearby Copper Creek Inn?
