  • Easy+
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 6.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,000 ft

7:30 at the I-5 and SR512 Park and Ride (http://www.soundtransit.org/Rider-Guide/I5_SR512-PR)

The end near the McDonald's, but a few rows away from it (northeast corner).

We'll take a different route than what the website describes making this an Easy+ not a moderate. Headed down from Paradise along the Narada Falls trail to the Lakes Trail to the south end of Mazama Ridge. Wander up along the ridge and then down Fourth Creek Crossing, then the road back to Paradise.

Although this is listing as a Beginner snowshoe trip with no requirement, this is really only appropriate for people who have taken Basic and/or Backcountry courses (website quirk I seem to be unable to fix). If any Basic students have difficulty signing up for this, email me and I'll get you on the list.

Be sure to bring lunch, plenty of water  and some snacks.

We'll go at a moderate pace, dictated by the slowest member. We need to stick together.
