9am start time at the Summit West ski area parking lot off I-90. More details to follow.

This is a shorter snowshoe trip of 4 miles but with decent elevation gain (1400 feet) so participants should have sufficient experience hiking up hills. The pace will be conversational with photo opportunities and occasional stops to adjust layers, grab a snack, etc. The plan is to make it to Lodge Lake but we will reassess the conditions near Beaver Lake.

Due to COVID carpooling is still actively discouraged. Please do not sign up if you can not drive to Snoqualmie Pass.

Note: The ski area is closed on Tuesdays so we will not be contending with much, if any, downhill ski traffic.
