Basic snowshoe trip for Everett Basic Snowshoe students. OPEN to all mountaineers starting Monday March 10, 2025. Will try to maintain a total elevation gain around 1200 feet, but if everyone feels good, we may go further.

Road access will not be a problem, as we will be parking at the Stevens Pass Nordic Center. The trip will be a gradual accent to Lanham Lake through a forest on the west side of Lanham Creek. The goal is to build snowshoeing confidence for students and provide an opportunity for others to get outside and enjoy the area. This will be a casual paced trip. The paced may be modified if everyone is feeling up to going a little faster.
Monroe Park and Ride. This is located on US Hwy #2 and is located just west of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds. Plan on arriving at 6:45AM and departing at 7:00AM.
