10:00 AM at Stevens Pass Nordic Center

The rains are over (we hope) and it's time to play in the snow. This hike takes you to a quiet lake dwarfed by Jim Hill peak. The trail leaves from the Stevens Pass Nordic Centre and crosses the active ski tracks at the start. It's a good trip with which to kick off the snowshoeing season. Plus, it's on the dryer side of the Cascade Crest and short, with a late start to avoid the heaviest Stevens Pass ski traffic. I'll email maps and other information to all participants on Thursday evening, Dec 17.
