CANCELLED DUE TO AVALANCHE RISK AND INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS.

Meet at the Maple Valley Park and Ride, 23033 Renton Maple Valley Rd SE, Maple Valley, WA 98038 at 7:00 am.
Second meeting location we will be at the Preston Park & Ride to meet anyone who would like to carpool from there with an arrival time of approximately 7:45 am.

After a quick check-in, and introductions, we will be on our way. From the Preston Park & Ride we will head up to the Gold Creek Sno Park off I-90 Exit 54 (Sno-Park permit required).

UPDATE:  This trip has been shortened to 3.4 miles with 860 feet of gain in order to keep the group in safer terrain.

Trip is weather and snow pack dependent.  Safety will be the first priority.   This trip will follow the National Forest road towards Kendall First Knob.  Conditions and group pace will determine how far we will go but being in  rush is not the goal :)
