We will meet outside the lodge by the fire pits at the Silver Fir Base area at The Summit at Snoqualmie at 9:00 am.  The address is: 80 Tanner Way, Snoqualmie Pass, WA 98068.  Please be geared up and ready to go by 9:05.  The Lodge should be open for bathroom use.

We will start at the ski area, follow a short section of groomed trail, and then head up on the blue-blazed Nordic Pass Trail to Hyak Lake for an early lunch.  Snow conditions have not been great due to the weather, so we have the option of descending on groomed ski trails which will make the return longer, but smoother. The forecast is for  sun and 28 degrees, so we will aim for a steady, but moderate pace where we stay warm, but don't get sweaty.  Due to colder temps, our lunch break will be shorter, so please bring something on the efficient side for eating.  (I love a thermos of herbal tea and a thermos of soup on a winter trip.)
