Basic Snowshoe - High Lakes Loop (winter)

Still snow to enjoy

  • Moderate
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 7.5 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 900 ft

7:30 South Hill Park and Ride in Puyallup

I go rain/snow/sun hot or cold.

Actual route will be Paradise toward Narada Falls, back up the road to Lakes trail and Inspiration Saddle. From there, follow Mazama Ridge to Fourth Crossing descending open slopes to the Paradise Valley road near the bridge and back to the parking lot via the road.

There's been quite a bit of snow lately so conditions may change route slightly.

Should the gate not open we will do Rampart Ridge or head toward Carter falls.

It is almost never needed but allow the whole day. We will travel at a geezerly pace ... as slow as the slowest person wants or needs to go.

I will email a confirmation Friday evening after registration closes. Feel free to email questions prior to that.
