A snowshoe overnighter on super bowl weekend...yes, you read correctly (An important note to remember is game time: Sunday, February 7, 3:30 PM on CBS).
Itinerary:
Day one: travel to upper Mazama Ridge or Golden Gate area via Paradise Valley road-4th Crossing Trail-Skyline Trail, setup camp. Possibly explore surrounding areas as time and energy allows.
Day Two: have breakfast and descend to arrive at parking lot by 11 AM, so as to return home before game starts.
