From I-90 East take Exit 52 towards Summit West. We'll meet at 8.45am directly across the road from the Snoqualmie Visitors Center/Forest Service Office on SR 906.

Parking to be found along the west end of SR 906. Note parking can be challenging. The parking area on the right of exit 52 at the West Summit is a carpool lot for the months of January/February (either 3 or more people in your car = free OR $10).

Note the West Summit lodge area has toilets available inside, (utilize them prior to our meeting time if needed/desired). UPDATE: the West Summit doesn't open until 4pm on this date - so the lodge area may be closed.  If so utilize the toilets at the Travelers Rest Area (mile marker 1 on SR 906) its a public Rest Area and should be open regardless- though further from our rendezvous point.

We'll take a walk  in a winter wonderland! We'll be exploring in the vicinity of  the old commonwealth basin trail, enjoying the snow filled forests, creek/falls and basin area. The pace will be moderate, with some stops for photo-ops (vistas, falls, etc).

As always, with winter adventures, weather and avalanche conditions may necessitate a change in venue.

COVID vaccination is required for this outing.
