Basic Snowshoe - Commonwealth Basin

Quick pre festivities stomp around in the snow, depending on avvy conditions. Consider this an enjoyable outdoor conditioner for those already familiar with snow and snowshoeing.

 Meet at Mercer park and ride at 8. We will sort cars then but should be out in the snow in an hour or so and go as far as people like. I want to be home by mid afternoon. 

Note: I am not a snowshoe lead, but a climb leader who wants to go snowshoeing. I’ll make sure you are safe, but I do not have snow shoe specific skills to share.
