Be sure to bring your map and compass. We will be sure to get in some navigation practice. Have a GPS or phone mapping app? This is an opportunity to try these out and share insights. The long range weather looks to be warmer and sunny. Things can change, so we will keep up with changes as Sunday approaches.
Parking at the Pass does not require permits, so that will make parking less of a hassle. Commonwealth creek will make snowshoeing fun.
Meet at 8:30 in front of the Traveler's Rest facility on the north side of the road that traverses between the different downhill skiing lots in Snoqualmie Pass. The restrooms and expresso station provide a relaxing start to the day. Carpooling can be accomplished easily from the Park & Ride lot in the town of North Bend across the street from Scotty's drive in restaurant.
