Note: 2023 Kitsap Basic Climbing students in need of a rock climb have explicit permission to sign up now. Participant slots will open to any other interested Kitsap Branch climber on June 12th and to climbers from any branch on June 26th. Please do not contact leader before these dates.

This is an exploratory climb of a seldom-visited, minor peak in the upper Tunnel Creek basin. Expect one pitch of mossy slab and one pitch of face climbing on pillow basalt, with several rappels. The climbing will not be exceptional, but the approach is a pleasant hike and this may just be the closest alpine rock climb to Kitsap, so join us in checking it out!
