Basic Rock Climb - South Early Winter Spire/South Arête

Basic climb for Kari Vanderbilt's SIG.

  • Climbing
  • Basic Alpine
  • Adults
  • Basic Rock Climb, Strenuous 1, Technical 2
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 6.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,600 ft

We will meet at the Blue Lake parking lot (or thereabouts depending on snow coverage).  And go from there!  It will be early, early, dawn patrol with the sun.  Hopefully!

Note that early season conditions are likely to be in affect, so we will want to prepare for a snowy approach.

Leader's permission is required and priority will be given to Kari Vanderbilt's SIG.

However, if you are an intermediate student, and wanting to complete a rope lead, then please contact me.  Thanks!
