The plan is for a fun day on a beautiful, fairly easy climb. We will approach from the Cave Ridge Trail. See this track for reference.  Except a strenuous approach with steep uphill. The pace won't be fast, but we will be efficient and try to keep breaks to about once per hour. The  climbing on this route isn't difficult, but there is a fair amount of exposure. So we will rope up on the ascent, even for the class 3/4 sections.

Priority for participant spots goes to graduates of the Basic Alpine Climbing course from any branch who have volunteered at any of the climbing courses this year. If you're in this category, use the Request Leader's Permission button and tell me (1) how you've volunteered this year, (2) what you've done to stay up to date on your rock climbing skills, and (3) what conditioning you've done that will make you successful on the approach.

Starting 7/14, any remaining spots and the waitlist are open to everyone with the appropriate badges. At that time, use the Request Leader's Permission button and tell me (1) if you're a student, what branch and/or SIG you are taking the Basic course with, (2) what you've done to brush up on your rock skills recently, and (3)  what conditioning you've done that will make you successful on the approach.

Time TBD (expect it to be early) at the Alpental parking lot. Full details to be communicated via email prior to the trip.
