Please do not contact me about this trip until May.  I am posting this now to hold it on the calendar and will be busy praying for snow in the interim so I don't plan to respond to folks until May.

This trip is limited to basic grads and those with excellent fitness.  Dome and Sinister are DEEP and the approach trail is largely overgrown which will make gaining that 5500' with full packs on day 1  tough.  If you are interested in this trip, when you reach out for leader permission please detail 1-your current fitness, 2-experience with long multi-day trips like this, and 3-your comfort with exposed scrambling (we will aim to protect the ridge on Dome but despite what you read about Sinister's summit scramble, very experienced friends of mine have said it was awful!)

General itinerary is as follows:

1-Survive the approach to high camp, take in the views from what is supposed to be an incredible camp at Itswoot Ridge

2-Dome, return to camp

3-Sinister, return to camp.  If we make good time we will move camp down to the low camp to shorten day 4

4-Hike out, drive immediately to Chipotle

We'll meet at the Downey Creek TH early Saturday for the long and tough approach to camp at Itswoot Ridge (15 miles + 5500' of gain).  Time tbd and coordinated with trip participants ahead of time.
