Ruth Mountain & Icy Peak Traverse

Trip

Basic Glacier Climb - Ruth Mountain & Icy Peak Traverse

Priority to Olympia Basic Climbing students through June 6. Leader permission required.

  • Basic Glacier Climb, Strenuous 3, Technical 2
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 13.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 6,500 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 7,115 ft

I'll send details to the roster closer to the trip. Plan on a car camp at the trailhead Friday night. This will be a one day climb of Ruth Mtn.

Fun climb, but a long day. Climbers must be in good condition and we'll be moving at a decent pace.
