Meet at White River Campground at 9am.
Goals:
- Complete the route safely and in good spirits.
- Demonstrate sound technical skills along the way.
- Practice crevasse rescue in an alpine environment.
Anticipated Intensity:
- Target pace is 1,000ft/hr.
Expectations of Participants:
- The team will stay together en-route to the summit, and on the return.
- Participants should self-assess for the requisite fitness to carry a 50 lb pack at the prescribed pace.
- Decisions regarding route and conditions are made and discussed as a group.
- Practice expedition mentality - keep oneself, the team, and our resources in balance.
- Foster camaraderie and inclusivity amongst the team.
Climbing and Leadership Style:
- The climbing style of this trip will focus on safety, efficiency, and fun.
- I will serve as facilitator and coordinator for the trip and strive to create space for others to lead segments of the trip.
- I’m open to share a stove and tent to reduce weight and I will share a spreadsheet for group gear.
