This climbing trip is open to Basic Alpine Climbing students who identify as women. All participants are expected to participate fully as collaborative members of the team, including assisting with navigation, sharing perspectives, and engaging in group decision-making. Participants should arrive prepared by researching the route in advance, contributing thoughtfully to collective decisions, and helping maintain an environment of mutual respect throughout the trip.
Our primary goals are to ensure a safe and enjoyable climbing experience while taking time to appreciate the alpine environment. As an added bonus, our trip dates coincide with the Perseid meteor shower. Viewing conditions will be especially favorable, as a new moon occurs on August 12, 2026, resulting in minimal moonlight and excellent visibility for even the fainter meteors.
If you are interested in joining this trip, please complete this Google Form at your convenience after 6/21 (this is to ensure that you have had time to complete other trips before filling out the application).
