To join this trip you must: be available for the whole of our 4 day window, May 16-19, and have a bike suitable for the Dosewallips Rd. approach.
When requesting leaders permission, share information about how you stay prepared for long mileage trips into technical terrain, and also your plan for arriving to the trailhead with a bike and then biking the Dosewallips gravel road and surpassing likely washouts with substantial weight on your back. Leader may ignore requests for permission that do not include information on availability, training program, and biking plan.
This trip plans to depart between May 16 and 19, depending on forecast.
Additional commuting considerations may be necessary to account for bike transport.
Plans will be fine tuned among participants prior to the trip.

Required Equipment
- The Ten Essentials
- A bicycle - skinny tires NOT recommended
- Group gear as assigned
- Mountain boots that can accept crampons (not hiking boots)
- Crampons
- An ice axe (not technical ice tools)
- A sleeping bag rated to +20 degrees or colder
- A sleeping pad
- A back pack (40 to 60 liters)
- Sufficient carabiners to participate in roped travel and conduct crevasse rescue
- Belay device
- Climbing harness
- Helmet

- Suitable layers
