Sign-up priority until 6/15/2025 for 2025 Everett Basic Course students who need climbs for graduation .

Rope leads / Assistant leaders sign-up priority for Everett LOR/IGC grads and students until 6/15/2025.

This is a very demanding climb (~35 miles / over 10,000 ft gain , over 3 days), the first two days being expected to be in 11-13h range while the third one in 8-10h range (first and last day with heavy packs). Being a very physical outing, it should not be one you are testing your conditioning and limits  on. Similar multi-day strenous backpacking / scrambling / climbing experience is required. When you contact the leader for sign up (after the system sign up opens on 4/21/2025) please describe your training regimen and what recent similar (effort wise) trips you have done recently.

This climb is posted as Basic Glacier climb but if the glacier travel is less than 2 hours and there are no crevasses to navigate, then the credit might end up being Basic Alpine not Basic Glacier (it will be leader discretion based on the conditions we will find). Nonetheless this will be a memorable climb if the weather and hopefully no fires conditions will allow us to get in the area.
