  • Basic Canyon
  • Moderate

We will meet at the trailhead at 8:45am.  The trailhead is located at 47.4176, -121.2379, which is called "Mineral Creek Trailhead" on some maps.  Driving directions can be found on ropewiki.com

Beta for this trip can be found on ropewiki.com. We will not be doing the shuttle route described. Instead, we will be hiking directly from the trailhead to an old dirt road that roughly follows the 3,000' contour line almost all the way to the drop in. There will be some bushwhacking involved.

Participants must be comfortable doing a 130' waterfall rappel. The exit may require some swimming at the edge of the lake. Participants must be able to swim with canyon gear.

This is likely the first descent of this canyon this year. We will need to inspect all anchors diligently and will need to build new anchors where needed.
