I (Sherrie) will be out of cellular service climbing in the Olympics from Saturday, July 28 through Saturday, August 4. As a result, I will not have time to review leader permission requests leading up to this climb or respond to many inquiries.

If you think you have adequate training and glacier travel skills to attempt a 15 mile climb in one day, feel free to sign up. Please have recent past experience gaining 5000' in one day over off trail terrain. I expect that we will travel 1200-1500 feet of elevation per hour on trail and 1000 feet of elevation per hour off trail, taking one five minute break after every hour of walking.

 

Depart trailhead just after Fryingpan Creek at 3 AM.
