Basic Alpine Climb - McMillan Spire/West Ridge
As the route description describes, this is a strenuous approach yet the rewards are high. Only for the very fit that are comfortable with a 6000' approach day. Am scheduling this for 3 days, but there is a chance if we get back to camp earlier enough from the summit and the energy level is high we could head down on day 2. But if the weather is grand we could easily hang out in camp and savor the view, then head down on day 3. Plan for 3 days....
