11:00 AM at Trailhead
Retry of May 22/23 Wedge attempt - participants in that climb have automatic permission. This climb is in a beautiful area but has 3600' of steep, rough elevation gain on approach to base camp. As well, on day 2 we will be doing the climb and heading all the way down to the trailhead. To be ready for this climb, you should doing a minimum of two or three "25/25" hikes per month (a "25/25" hike has 2500 ft. in elevation gain and you carry 25% of your body weight) and doing cardio training during the week. You should be able to do a hike like the shortest trail to the top of Tiger Mountain in under 90 minutes carrying a backpack weighing 25% of your body weight. If this is you and you want to do this climb, go ahead and sign up for it. If you aren't sure or have questions, please email me at .
