Scheduling at last minute to fit the weather forecast. Rock is said to be 4th class, so will involve some roped climbing. Basic ALpine climb. Storm King sits between giants Logan and Goode, and the name alone should make this mountain well worth climbing. Leader looking for this as #84 of high 100 list. Leave about 8am Thurs and walk trail about 10 miles (+2k -3K) and camp near junction with Park Creek Pass Trail. Climb day Friday is 6500 gain and 10 miles RT but about 1/2 on regular trail (then climbers trail) Still a strenuous day. Sat, hike out (on trail so not a big deal if the weather turns on us) Call leader at 206 525 4129 with questions and to make gear/driving arrangements by Wed night.
