  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 15.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 4,400 ft
  • Pace: Fast

TBD

We will do the Carne High route on the approach, camp at Ice Lakes, summit S Spectacle on day 2 and return to the cars via Leroy basin.

Note that this scramble is very high-end and would be considered to be "unsavory" by many.  It has route-finding complexity and it is possible to get on class 4 terrain.  Moving quickly and efficiently is required.
I am looking for participants with comparable past experience  (tricky route-finding, exposed and loose scrambling, etc).   Please include in your request to join reassurances that you understand the nature of this outing and are prepared by prior experience.
An example might be having completed the Fisher Chimneys route on Shuksan, and scrambling the majority of the chimneys and the full summit pyramid unroped.  (one rappel totally OK in the lower chimneys)
