Basic Alpine Climb - South Early Winter Spire/South Arête

Basic alpine climb primarily for Kitsap basic climbing students needing a rock climb. Will open to all two weeks before the climb.

  • Mileage: 6.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,600 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 7,800 ft

We will meet at the trailhead at 0600 - either Blue Lake or the direct route depending on snow cover.  Will plan to camp in the area the night before and will arrange with the party.  

Giving priority to Kitsap basic climbing course students and will open to all two weeks prior if spots are available.
