COVID-19: Learn about our most up-to-date guidance for participants and leaders on our COVID-19 Response page. All participants and leaders must agree to the COVID-19 Code of Conduct before participating in this Mountaineers activity.
  • Basic Rock Climb, Strenuous 1, Technical 2
  • For Beginners (Getting Started Series)
  • Mileage: 6.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,600 ft

Meet at the Blue Lake Trailhead around 7am and walk up to start the climb.

Plan on bivying at the trailhead or along the way.  There is a campground down on the left past the hairpin curve toward Mazama.  There are other places on the way there.  Poor weather cancels.

If you sign up for this climb, mean it.  I have to coordinate rope leads for your and it is a big juggle game.  If you cancel it really screws things up.
