Dustin Shigeno will be mentor leading this climb. Please contact Dustin for leader permission or with any other inquiries, at dshigeno@huskies.com or 206-713-0603. To be ready for this climb, you should be doing a minimum of two or three 25/25 hikes per month (a 25/25 hike has 2500 ft. in elevation gain and you carry 25% of your body weight) and doing cardio training during the week. You should be able to do a hike like the shortest trail to the top of Tiger Mountain in under 90 minutes carrying a backpack weighing 25% of your body weight. It's strongly recommended that all participants car camp at the trailhead or at Cascade Pass (1.2 miles further up the road) as we will be getting a very early start. Meeting time TBD and will be emailed to all participants prior to the climb.
