[UPDATE:  Meeting time has been moved earlier to 8 AM at trailhead.  Trailhead is unmarked, but there are very few on that road, so the "21.7 miles" will get you close even if your odometer is off.  Updated 6 PM 7/26]    21.7 miles up Cascade River Road as in Route Description.    Arrive before 8 AM on Saturday August 1, 2015, and be ready to depart at 8 AM.  Allow plenty of time for driving, buying gas, etc. Cascade River road is poor quality with washboards and potholes and is slow.

This climb will have an easy pace.  Leader's Permission required. Contact leader to express interest. Do not attempt to register! First priority is for Intense Basic Students who have not completed their required climbs. Second priority is for regular Basic students with same condition. Third priority is all others who are qualified. If there are more applicants than spaces at any level of priority, an automatic lottery will held by Climb Leader to determine who gets on the roster and who is on the waitlist. Lottery will occur at 9 PM Monday night July 27. The resulting roster will be posted immediately thereafter and a follow-up email will be sent to all who contacted Leader. After 11 pm on July 27, Leader's permission is not needed after that time.  From that time forward any additions or cancellations are up to individuals.

Rope Leaders are first-come first-served.  Contact Leader who will place you on roster.

Rarely does a glacier climb get filled by Intense Basic students, so regular students have a good chance of getting on this climb.
