Route has now been bolted the whole way up changing this easy beginner Trad Leader and Student climb requiring no Pro besides slings into just another even easier Sport Route. No longer qualifies for Basic Alpine credit.

5:30am at MWPR. High clearance 4WD vehicles preferred.
Not called the "Bowling Alley" route for nothing, this is one of the strangest (and easiest) climbs around- a true 3-1/4 pitch rock climb where the only "Pro" used by Leaders tends to be slings. Lots of "Chicken-heads", "Duck-heads", "Sheep", "Goat", "Buffalo", "Giraffe" and even some "Elephant-heads". You get the picture. Approach hike is approximently 300 yards. Not to be taken as lightly as first appearances indicates.....

- Climbing harness
