Because our approach takes us across a glacier, this is considered a glacier climb. Most of the climbing however, is over loose third and fourth class rock. The challenge is in the final 1,300 feet. After scrambling up 1,000 feet of upper third class rock, we come to a scary traverse of a few hundred feet. We will set a hand line here or build a running belay. Possible rockfall. Once across the traverse, it is a 200 foot scramble up a coulior appropriately named the 'bowling alley'; one must move quickly here, and possibly just one person at a time. Contact the leader for details.
