7:15 am parking lot, 7:30 am boots on the trail. Discover Pass required. McCarthy-Johnson SIG only until Jan 15.

Please read:  Leader Permission is required if you are not in McCarthy-Johnson SIG, any sign-ups that bypass this requirement will be automatically cancelled.  This is a conditioning hike for students who are preparing to pass a time trial where they're expected to carry 20% of their body weight up Mt. Si in under 2 hours.  So not exactly a race, but definitely not a walk in the park either.   For non-Basic Alpine students, in your permission request please provide some details on your fitness, including  your recent activities, times, weight carried, etc.

McCarthy-Johnson SIG, you have leader permission, go ahead and sign up.  Other folks, please wait until Jan 15th and request permission, and provide details on your hiking fitness  including recent activities.
