Basic Alpine Climb - Mount Washington/East Ridge (Olympics)

I will take three rock ropes (3 at 60 meters), inReach, 6 radios, and water filter to the TH.

 You need your basic rock gear.

  • Wear mountaineering boots and carry rock shoes.
  • No snow gear.
  • Suggest having trekking poles and light pair of gloves to wear during the approach.
  • Leave TH with 1.5 liters of water.

 Meet at the IGA in Hoodsport (near public restrooms) at 7:00 AM.

 IGA grocery store address = 24141 US- 101, Hoodsport, 98548

 This will get us to the TH at 8:00 AM.

 Moving by 8:30 AM.

 TH elevation = 3087 feet.

 TH coordinates = 47.518998, -123.236895

 Elevation gain = 3168 feet.

 Distance traveled = 4.00 mi round trip.
