Basic Alpine Climb - Mount Shasta/Avalanche Gulch

Allow a minimum 10 hour drive for each way. Leader is coming from a Eastern California. Call leader for details. We will camp at Helen Lake on day one and climb on day three depending on group dynamics.

We will meet at the Mt Shasta City Ranger Station on Friday morning at 9:00 AM.

glacier gear and harnesses optional as we will not be on a glacier.  Helmet, ice axe and crampons mandatory.  Bring clothing for glissading.
