This is an adventurous scramble/climb of modest technical requirements, but requires concentration and route finding and shouldn't be underestimated!  Note for 2021 Basic Students - this trip is mainly for experienced basic graduates, and since it's not a rock or a glacier trip, it will not count for your graduation requirements.   Please have completed your required rock climb before attempting this one.  We'll make camp at Persindex Ponds around half way through the route.

In case of access difficulty up the FS-62 road to Persis (e.g. gate closed) we'll probably convert this into a one day scramble of Mt Index via the North Fork Tolt river road.
