  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 38.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 7,000 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 7,639 ft

Will carpool from Puyallup or meet at trailhead.

This is a remote peak that I have not done before, route descriptions describe steep snow and loose rock.  Not for beginners, must be comfortable with steep unroped snow slopes and unroped rock scrambling.  Only expect to set a pitch at the summit.  Will not go with bad weather (must be zero % chance of showers on summit, 2nd, day).  Will leave from the Dungeness trailhead and head towards Constance Pass, likely camp at Home Lake or press on to Constance Pass and camp on the ridge.

Will be spectacular views!  Will do Little Mystery and several small peaks on Del Monte Ridge from Constance Pass.

Day 1: Hike 11 miles to Home Lake below Constance Pass

Day 2: Hike east to Mystery and Little Mystery, scramble provisional peaks along Del Monte Ridge, back to camp

Day 3: Hike out.
