Basic Alpine Climb - Mixup Peak/East Face

Strenuous, long day trip up an interesting alpine objective with excellent views

  • Sat, Jul 20, 2019 — Sun, Jul 21, 2019
  • Everett Climbing Committee
  • Climbing
  • Basic Alpine
  • Adults
  • Basic Rock Climb, Strenuous 4, Technical 4
  • Challenging
  • Elevation Gain: 3,900 ft

TBD.

The route is known for loose rock and the rappels can be especially dangerous.

Preference given to Basic Grads, especially those with experience climbing or scrambling loose rock.  This is a strenuous objective.  We will car camp and do this in one day (Sat or Sun depending on which has better weather).   The climb will likely take 16 hours car to car.

Please let me know you read these leader notes by describing your comfort-level and experience on loose rock.
